DB Query Analyzer is presented by Master Genfeng, Ma from Chinese Mainland. It has English version named ‘DB Query Analyzer’ and Simplified Chinese version named 
DB Query Analyzer is one of the few excellent Client Tools in the world for its’powerful function, friendly interface, easy operation and applicability to every production of RDBMS.
It lets you query ODBC data sources, author SQL scripts and queries, return query results to a grid or free-form text or a file, retrieve ODBC driver information, execute multiple SQL scripts or stored procedures simultaneously, and more.

2 Preface
DB Query Analyzer provides a useful function that you can sort a field of resultin grid by click the title. Once click will sort by ascending. Click again will alter to descending.
I will show you how to sort the result in DB Query Analyzer 5.04.
OS : Windows 2000 server
Database system : Sybase
Client tool : DB Query Analyzer 5.04.
3 Connect to ODBC DSN based on Sybase, execute SQL statement
Run DB Query Analyzer 5.04 first, then click ‘File’ menu to choose ‘Connect’ to open the logging window. Select ODBC Data Source ‘EAS Demo DB V4’, input user name and password, then connect to the database and execute SQL statement as it’s shown in figure 1.

4 Sort the result by ascending
Select‘Result 2’ in the result tabsheet, left click the title ‘fname’, then the result is sorted.
This is shown in Figure 2.

5 Sort the result by descending
Select‘Result 2’ in the result tabsheet, left click the title ‘fname’ again,then the result is sorted.
This is shown in Figure 3.

You had better to sort the result that record count is no more than 20 thousand. If there’s more than 50 thousand records returned, It’s low efficient to sort it.
