#Leetcode# 111. Minimum Depth of Binary Tree

https://leetcode.com/problems/minimum-depth-of-binary-tree/

Given a binary tree, find its minimum depth.

The minimum depth is the number of nodes along the shortest path from the root node down to the nearest leaf node.

Note: A leaf is a node with no children.

Example:

Given binary tree [3,9,20,null,null,15,7],

    3
   /
  9  20
    /
   15   7

return its minimum depth = 2.

代码:

/**
 * Definition for a binary tree node.
 * struct TreeNode {
 *     int val;
 *     TreeNode *left;
 *     TreeNode *right;
 *     TreeNode(int x) : val(x), left(NULL), right(NULL) {}
 * };
 */
class Solution {
public:
    int minDepth(TreeNode* root) {
        if(!root)
            return 0;
        if(!root -> left)
            return 1 + minDepth(root -> right);
        else if(!root -> right)
            return 1 + minDepth(root -> left);
        else
            return 1 + min(minDepth(root -> left), minDepth(root -> right));
    }
};
