We would like to inform our customers that during last weeks Oxygen Software team has received a number of complaints concerning the latest version of XRY software. All complaints say that installing XRY damages installation of other forensic software including Oxygen Forensic Suite. Our respective customers admitted that uninstalling XRY software eliminates the problem, and Oxygen Forensic Suite can be started and worked without any problems.
We also receive complaints from our clients who have been required to wait for the manufacturer of XRY to solve this problem without indicating the exact terms. We still do encourage you to contact MSAB support to resolve this sad XRY issue as soon as possible.
We must admit that Oxygen Forensic Suite does not require any special updates as unlike XRY it does not interfere with other programs and does not preclude functionality of other forensic applications.
As long as MSAB do not release the updated XRY version we do strongly recommend all our customers to uninstall the latest XRY version from computers that already have Oxygen Forensic Suite or any other forensic software installed.
