2 Preface
In DB QueryAnalyzer, it‘s very convenient to search key word in SQL edit/ Result area.
I will show you anexample.
OS: Windows 2000 Server
Databasesystem : DB2
Clienttool : DB Query Analyzer 5.04.
3 Execute SQL after connected to DB2
Run DB Query Analyzer 5.04first, then click ‘File’ menu to choose ‘Connect’ to open the loggingwindow. Select ODBC Data Source ‘unitoll2’, then input user name and password.
Afterwards, execute SQL statementin SQL edit frame.
This is shown inFigure 1.

4 Search key words in SQL edit frame
Left click theSQL edit frame so that SQL edit frame will get focus. Then press ‘Ctrl+F’ orselect the item ‘Edit’--à‘Search’ orpress the toolbutton ‘Search’. Afterwards, a search box can be found, input‘SELECT’ as key words and click find button to locate the key words in SQL editframe.
This is shown in Figure2.

Click find youcan locate key words in other place. This is shown in Figure 3.

5 Search key words in Result area
If you want to locate key words inResult area, you should set ‘Text’ style by select ‘Query’-à’Display’-à’Text’ item as it’s shown in figure4, or select the ‘Text’ in the dropdown list toolbutton ‘Display’ as it’ s shown in figure 5.

You can get the result after you execute SQLstatement.

Left click the ‘Result area’ so that it will get focus.Then press ‘Ctrl+F’, a search box can be found, input ‘4405’ as key words and click find button tolocate the key words in the ‘Result area’.
