In the daily work, if you do really want to make a video for your website/products, i'd like recommend you choose the microvideo.
Generally speaking, you may put up a over 10 minutes video for your website, but i do not think that a good idea. Actually it should be a bad one... These days I'm busy with our company's vedio for product introduction, and i have some idea to sharing with all of you.
As for such long video there have some problem as follows:
Firstly, it's too long!!! Will u waste such a long time to watch a video which is boring？Oh, please, this video just a help one.
Secondly, it's hard to refer back to a specific spot. When watching it, u can not get a quick reference even we give a annotating for u.
Thirdly, it will be outdated quickly. Small change on your website may bring huge pain to update the video.
Fourth,it's hard to see what's happening in a full-screen screencast.
Ok, after these bullshit upon, U may curious about the solution to these problems. Not much to say, my recommedation is make microvideos.
Above all, plan what you're going to record. This is the key issue, this step need you to plan how many video to record to demostrate your theme. I try to limit videos to 20s to demonstrate my feature.
Next, get your website in a state that's ready to record. You need to prepare the data may use in the record.

Once again, you can get your website or product in a state that's ready to record, then start recording...
These job not so easy, you may need 2-3 tries to get a smooth and natural-looking video.Hope you will have fun to do that, my friend.
