天线罩顾名思义是用来保护天线系统免受外部环境影响的结构物。它在电气性能上具有良好的电磁波穿透特性,机械性能上能经受外部恶劣环境的作用。室外天线通常置于露天工作,直接受到自然界中暴风雨、冰雪、沙尘以及太阳辐射等的侵袭,致使天线精度降低、寿命缩短和工作可靠性差,这个时候您需要一个天线罩来保护天线从而不受到外界的影响,选择什么材质的天线罩比较好呢?ABS还是ASA亦或者是FRP?

天线罩为什么用玻璃钢的,因为FRP天线罩透波率比ABS好但是比ASA差一点,不过ASA容易破比较软,FRP天线罩透波性强、介电常数低至2.6,所以综合以上几点个人觉得用FRP材料做天线罩实用一些。

FRP:玻璃纤维增强塑料(Fiberglass-Rainforced Plastics ),根据采用的纤维不同分为玻璃纤维增强复合塑料(GFRP),碳纤维增强复合塑料(CFRP),硼纤维增强复合塑料等;

GFRPP是超强型玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯树脂材料;GFRPP纤维增强聚丙烯(Fiber reinforced polypropylene)的简称,玻纤增强聚丙烯材料,具有高强度、高刚度、 高抗冲、低蠕变、低翘曲、耐疲劳、易成型。

FRPP是玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯材料;FRPP纤维增强聚丙烯由内外层同牌号的PP树脂与硅酸盐类或者二氧化硅类纤维材料,通过特定工艺加工而成的功能型复合材料,可用作给水管材等。

FRP 与 GRP 的区别

According the improvement in engineering and production field, the changes in material subject would play a vital role with any changes in design, structure, performance or efficiency of the product. In some cases, single specification of a material would not satisfy the needs of product. Therefore, the development way in engineering materials has been combining two or more materials inorder to gain benefits of each one. Result of this, the composite materials have been borned.

The definiton of a “composite” is an engineering material consisting of two or more dissimilar components in it. These dissimilar components are usually classed as the matrix and the reinforcement. The matrix can be plastic (or “polymer”), metal or ceramic and the reinforcement is either particulate or fibre based.

The main role of fibres is providing strength and stiffness to the material. But the fibre alone is brittle (ex: glass). Therefore, the fibres are encased in a coating of polymer materials. Polymer matrix holds the fibres in their position and transfers the loads between the fibres. It also contributes to the inter-laminar shear strength.

The fibres used in composite are as follows; E-glass, S-glass, Quartz, Aramid (Kevlar 49), Spectra 1000, Carbon (AS4), Carbon (IM-7), Graphite (P-100), and Boron. Polyesters, Vinyl Esters, Epoxies, Bismaleimides, Polyimides, and Phenolics are the polymers used. The reason for each polymer has different chemical and physical properties, it creates different composite structure.

Fibre reinforced plastics (as known FRP in industry) are having specification of high strength fibres including polymer matrix. FRP has different types and generally it is known the type of fibre in industry. Fibre of the composite could be glass, carbon, aramid etc. and the plastics are usually a thermosetting resin such as polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy. It is widely used instead of metal and wood. (Example : Aircraft usage)

•Fibreglass or GRP is a composite material made out of glass fibres and uses polyester, vinyl, or epoxy as the polymer. GRP is used different type of applications such as producing gliders, boats, bathtubs, pipes and fittings, tanks.

In a nutshell, if the fibre of composite is glass, it is known as GRP( Glass reinforced plastic). Fibreglass(GRP) is one type of FRP.
