IfcSolidModel通过不同类型的实体模型表示来表示三维形状。它是边界表示、CSG表示、扫掠表示和其他合适的实体表示方案的常见抽象超类型。

实体模型是产品名义形状的完整表示，这样内部的所有点都是连接的。任何点都可以分为在实体的内部、外部或边界上。实体模型表达有几种不同类型。
