3.2 What Name to Give Your Makefile =================================== By default, when `make' looks for the makefile, it tries the following names, in order: `GNUmakefile', `makefile' and `Makefile'. Normally you should call your makefile either `makefile' or `Makefile'. (We recommend `Makefile' because it appears prominently near the beginning of a directory listing, right near other important files such as `README'.) The first name checked, `GNUmakefile', is not recommended for most makefiles. You should use this name if you have a makefile that is specific to GNU `make', and will not be understood by other versions of `make'. Other `make' programs look for `makefile' and `Makefile', but not `GNUmakefile'.
3.2 给你的Makefile起个什么名字
缺省地，当make 寻找makefile的时候，它会按如下顺序：
GNUmakefile, makefile,Makefile
通常，你应当称你的 makefile为 'makefile或'Makefile(我们建议使用 Makefile，因为它会在目录中显示在靠近起始的位置，比较显眼。也靠近其他重要文件如README)。
第一个名字'GNUmakefile' 不受推荐。你应当在此makefile有GNU特性且不被其他版本make理解的情况下来使用此名字。
其他的make会查找 makefile和 Makefile, 而不是 GNUmakefile。
