一、刚装上hive在执行hive启动的过程中出现

[hadoop@localhost hive-0.6.0]$ hive
Invalid maximum heap size: -Xmx4096m
The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size.
Could not create the Java virtual machine.

　　解决方法：

　　修改$HIVE_INSTALL/bin/ext/util/execHiveCmd.sh

# increase the threashold for large queries
  #HADOOP_HEAPSIZE=4096 
  HADOOP_HEAPSIZE=128
