One网络模拟器探索之四:结果分析工具

通常,在仿真主要是为了验证自己的路由算法或者其他相关改进能够使网络的传输效率更高或者开销更低,因此会反复进行修改,这个阶段或者可以直接通过查看one生成的报告文件即可。但当原创算法或者改进算法产生理想的效果之后,需要形成文章时,就需要专门的工具来表现仿真的结果了。我这里使用的是origin和graphviz两个软件,当然写文章的话,最好就用latex了。

origin是一个专门通过数据画图的工具,比如,要展现缓存大小对路由成功率的影响,那么首先需要拿到不同缓存大小的条件下,相应的消息传递成功率,将这些数据直接输入给origin,就可以将结果以二维曲线或者折线的方式展现出来。

当然这里有一个问题就是ONE生成的报告文件都是txt文件,其中每一列之间通过若干空格分隔,这样就导致从txt报告文件到qtiplot之间的录入需要手工转换,但又不可能挨个单元格复制。最开始我用了最麻烦的方法,自己写了一个java程序读one生成的报告文件内容,然后通过字符串处理,分别输出自己需要的那列。后来,在了解脚本语言的过程中,发现awk被列为文本处理脚本语言,果断尝试,原来一条命令就能够输出任何想要的一列数据。例如

awk '{print $num}' filename

如果输出第一列num为1,第二列num为2,以此类推。然后将输出的结果直接复制到qtiplot中即可。
