Remove Duplicates from Sorted Array II

Follow up for "Remove Duplicates":
What if duplicates are allowed at most twice?

For example,
Given sorted array A = [1,1,1,2,2,3],

Your function should return length = 5, and A is now [1,1,2,2,3].

 1 public class Solution {
 2     public int removeDuplicates(int[] A) {
 3      if(A == null || A.length == 0)
 4         return 0;
 5       int count = 1;
 6       boolean meetTwice = false;
 7       for(int i = 1; i < A.length; i++){
 8           if(A[i] == A[i-1]){
 9               if(meetTwice){
10                   continue;
11               }else{
12                   A[count++]  = A[i];
