NXP官方SDK移植—基于I.MX6UL嵌入式SoC

1、前言

NXP官方对I.MX6U系列的嵌入式SoC编写了相关的SDK包,类似于STM32开发使用的STD库或者HAL库,里面包含了I.MX6U评估板的许多测试例程,以及芯片外设的寄存器定义,对于这些相关的外设寄存器定义文件,在对I.MX6UL进行ARM裸机开发时,可以直接移植过来使用。

2、移植SDK包

先到NXP官网上下载并安装I.MX6UL嵌入式SoC的SDK包,链接如下:

在上面已经提及过了,该SDK包是NXP官方为I.MX6UL嵌入式SoC的测试评估板所提供的,所以该SDK包里面提供了大量的测试例程,包括芯片上的外设驱动、USB开发以及RTOS等相关实例,当然我们并不需要所有的SDK包里面的文件,也并不是使用该SDK包进行开发,我们需要移植一些重要的芯片外设寄存器定义的文件,以便于后续ARM裸机的开发,关于SDK包里面的更详细内容,可以直接参考SDK包里面的文档。

首先需要移植的文件为fsl_common.h,该文件定义了一些公共的宏,文件路径如下:

  • muxRegister:IO口引脚的复用配置寄存器地址,例如GPIO1_IO08的IO复用寄存器IOMUXC_SW_MUX_CTL_PAD_GPIO1_IO08的地址为0x020E007C;
  • muxMode:IO口引脚的复用模式,为ALT0~ALT8,对应了数字0~8,例如要设置GPIO1_IO08这个引脚为通用输入/输出接口(GPIO)的话,该参数为5;
  • inputRegister:外设输入IO选择寄存器地址,某些IO口引脚设置为复用功能后还需要进行IO输入寄存器的配置,例如GPIO1_IO08这个引脚要复用为UART5_RTS_B引脚的话,还需要配置寄存器IOMUXC_UART5_RTS_B_SELECT_INPUT,地址为0x020E0640;
  • inputDaisy:要配置寄存器inputRegister的值,例如GPIO1_IO08这个引脚要复用为UART5_RTS_B引脚的话,该参数的值为1;

新创建工程目录以及存放SDK包移植的相关文件的目录:

将前面移植的SDK文件放入到imx6ul目录下,并在该目录下新创建types.h文件,定义一些数据类型,防止使用SDK库后编译出错:

其中,链接地址为0x87800000,应用程序的入口为_start,在start.S文件中定义,.bss段是定义了但是没有被初始化的变量,因此需要手动对.bss段的变量清0,因此需要知道.bss段的起始地址__bss_start和.bss段的结束地址__bss_end,这两个地址可以直接在汇编或者C文件中使用。

接下来,在工程目录下新创建Makefile文件,用来编译出需要烧写的用户镜像文件(.bin程序),使用下面命令:

Makefile文件的开头定义了一些与编译器和工程目标相关的变量,需要修改的话,直接在前面修改即可。

变量INCLDIRS包含了整个工程的.h头文件的目录,工程中的所有头文件目录都需要添加到该变量中,当前实例中包含.h头文件的目录有imx6ul、bsp/clk、bsp/delay和bsp/gpio,因此需要在该变量中添加这些相关目录,如下:

变量SRCDIRS和变量INCDIRS类似,只不过变量SRCDIRS包含了整个工程中具有.c和.S文件目录,当前实例中包含.c和.S文件的目录有project、bsp/clk、bsp/delay和bsp/gpio,因此需要在该变量中添加这些相关目录,如下:

变量INCLUDE则是用到了函数patsubst,通过该函数给变量INCDIRS添加编译的参数"-I",用于指定编译时指定头文件路径,如下:

变量SFILES保存了工程中所有的.S汇编文件,包含绝对路径,由于变量SRCDIRS已经保存了所有存放.c和.S文件的目录,因此只需要在里面挑选出所有的.S汇编文件就可以了,在这里,使用了函数foreach和函数wildcard,该变量如下:

SFILES    := project/start.S

变量CFILES和变量SFILES类似,只不过CFILES保存了工程中所有.c文件,包含绝对路径,该变量如下所示:

变量SFILENDIR和变量CFILENDIR包含了所有的.S汇编文件和.c源文件,和变量SFILES和变量CFILES进行比较,不包含文件的绝对路径,因此这两个变量仅仅是文件名,在这里借助了函数notdir来实现这个效果,该变量值如下:

变量SOBJS和变量COBJS是.S汇编文件和.c源文件编译以后对应的.o文件目录,默认条件下,编译出来的.o文件是和源文件在同一目录下的,在这里将所有的.o文件都存放到obj目录下,变量值如下:

变量OBJS则是SOBJS和COBJS变量的集合,值如下:

VPATH用于指定搜索目录,这里指定了搜索目录为变量SRCDIRS所保存的目录,所以在编译时所需要的.S和.c文件就会在这些目录中寻找。

.PHONY: clean则是指定了一个伪目标clean,后面的代码则是编译真正执行的命令了。
整个工程目录下文件如下:

在宿主机终端下,使用make命令编译,即可编译出所需要的用户镜像.bin文件。
