-ing or -ed adjectives

the adjective ends in - ing when it is describing the thing or person being talked about. Look at the examples to see how adjectives ending in -ing are used.

* The documentary was really interesting.  这部纪录片真的很有趣

* I've just had some very surprising news.  我刚听到一些非常人惊讶消息

The adjective ends in -ends in -ed when it is describing how people feel. 这个形容词以 -ed结尾,用来描述人们的感受

* He's not very interested in art.  他对艺术不太感兴趣。

* They were really surprised when we told them the news.  当我们告诉他们这个消息时,他们真的很惊讶。

I'm very bored with my job.对于我的工作,我感觉很无聊   (人的感受 feeling)

That is very exciting  news.  这是个令人兴奋的消息。(描述这个事物,让人exciting)

b) This weather makes me depressed  这种天气让我很沮丧

c) It's silly to get  depressed   because of the weather.  因为天气而沮丧是愚蠢的。(人沮丧的感受愚蠢

Clare is going to the united States next month. She has never been there before.(excite)  克莱尔下个月要去美国。她以前从未去过那里。

a) It will be an exciting experience for her.  这对她来说将是一次激动人心经历。(因为并非人的感受,所以用-ing)

b) Going to new places is always exciting  去新地方总是令人兴奋

c) She is really excited about going to the United States.   对去美国感到兴奋
