第一句当中：it是形式主语。真正主语是to meet you.
第二句中是“我因为见到你而高兴”，句子的主语是第一人称“我”。
# 应用场合不同
glad to meet you所用的场合比 nice to meet you正式。nice to meet you 用于陌生人 首次见面用语，meet表示遇到、相会。比如：Glad to meet you. Glad to meet you, too.很高兴认识你。 我也很高兴认识你。
