Abstract DB Query Analyzer provides a pop menu to generate frequent used SQL statement coincided with the connected RDBMS. This function of DB Query Analyzer is applicable to all kinds of RDBMS.

1 Brief introductionof DB Query Analzyer
DB Query Analyzer is presented by Master Genfeng, Ma from Chinese Mainland. It has English version named ‘DB Query Analyzer’ and Simplified Chinese version named 
DB Query Analyzer is one of the few excellent Client Tools in the world for its’powerful function, friendly interface, easy operation and applicability to every production of RDBMS.
It lets you query ODBC datasources, author SQL scripts and queries, return query results to a grid or free-form text or a file, retrieve ODBC driver information, execute multiple SQL scripts or stored procedures simultaneously, and more.

In the New products & Tools reviews of programmer second issue of 2007, DB Query Analyzer had been strongly recommended.

2 Preface
DB Query Analyzer provides a pop menu to generate frequent used SQL statement coincided with the connected RDBMS. This function of DB Query Analyzer is applicable to all kinds of RDBMS.
I will show you this function in DB Query Analyzer 5.04.
OS : Windows XP/ Windows 2000 server
Database system : MYSQL, MS SQL Server,DB2, Sybase
Client tool : DB Query Analyzer 5.04.
3 Connect to ODBC DSN based on MYSQL
Run DB Query Analyzer 5.04 first, then click ‘File’ menu to choose ‘Connect’ to open the logging window. Select ODBC Data Source ‘mysql_test’, input user name and password, then connect to the database.
This is shown in Figure 1.

After logged in MY SQL Server, Right click the node ‘tb_area’ in ‘Object View’, select the ‘Select Top…(P)’ item in the pop menu, then SQL statement is generated automatically.

4 Connect to DB2
After logged in DB2,Right click the node ‘TB_OUTLIST_WEIGHT’ in ‘Object View’, select the ‘Select Top …(P)’ item in the pop menu, then SQL statement is generated automatically.
This is shown in Figure 3.

5 Connect to Sybase
After logged in Sybase,Right click the node ‘TB_OUTLIST_WEIGHT’ in ‘Object View’, select the ‘Select Top …(P)’ item in the pop menu, then SQL statement is generated automatically.

6 Connect to MS SQL Server
After logged in MS SQL Server, Right click the node ‘TB_OUTLIST_WEIGHT’ in ‘Object View’, select the ‘Select Top …(P)’ item in the pop menu, then SQL statement is generated automatically.
This is shown in Figure 5.
